Project Mother's Day 2012

It was afternoon by the time we made our way to the sweet small house. The mom was just coming in the door. She lead us into meet her daughter who was watching a movie in specially decorated room. When we got down to the gift giving, the mom was nearly in tears, saying, "This means something different than I thought it would. I just came from making funeral arrangements for my own mother and..." An understanding beyond words passed between all of us.
It is an honor to help children who are not able to reach out their mothers by themselves. We do not claim to replace the voice of a kiddo saying, "I love you" or even saying, "Mom."
